Edging with puff stitch flowers

In this sample I work 2 double crochet (dc) between flowers. Multiples of 6 ch.

Starting from a 2 or 3 dс.

Repeat from * 3 times.

Skip 2 dc. *Yarn over, insert the hook into 3rd dc and pull the loop to a height of 3 chain. Repeat from * 3 times.

And now pull yarn through ALL loops on hook.

Yarn over, and pull the loop (make ch 1).

3 petals ready.

Finish this petal. Yarn over and pull yarn through all loops on the hook.

Again YO and pull yarn through last loops on the hook.

Work ch 1. Work one more puff stitch in the center of the flower exactly the same way as the previous one.

Pull 3 loops to a height of 3 chain, YO and pull yarn through all loops on the hook. Dc in next dc on brown base.

The first flower is ready. 1 dc in base.

Continue to work the next flower is similar to the first.

The sample is ready!

If you work 3 dc between flowers then multiples of 7 ch. You can skip the 1 dc on the base and work the second petal in second dc.

Then skip 2 dc. The third petal in the third dc.

Finish this flower, skip 1 dc on the base, work 3 dc in next 3 dc.

In this version of the florets turn out less, but the beauty of the edging is not lost.
