In Stitches + Charts<\/a> Category I show simple crochet diagrams that do not require detailed Tutorials and, I think, be understandable even for beginner crocheters.<\/p>\n

Chain a multiple of 8 plus 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Row #1.<\/strong> 1 dc in 4-th ch from hook. Ch 1, skip 2 st, (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) all in next st, * ch 1, skip 1 st, (dc2tog between dc skip 3 st), ch 1, skip 1 st, (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) all in next st. Repeat from * across. At the end of row: Ch 1, skip 1 st, dc in next st, dc in the last ch of the foundation chain.<\/p>\n

Row #2.<\/strong> Work ch 5. Turn. 1 dc in the first dc, 2 dc in ch3 around, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2. * Skip 1 st, 1 dc in dc2tog, ch 2, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc under ch3 around, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2. Repeat from * across. Dc in the third ch of the previous row.<\/p>\n

Row #3.<\/strong> Work ch 3. Turn. 1 dc in the arch of the ch 2, ch 1, dc2tog in the first and fourth dc of the previous row, ch 1. * (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) all in next dc, ch 1, dc2tog in the first and fourth dc of next group, ch 1. Repeat from * across. At the end of row: (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) all in the third ch of the previous row.<\/p>\n

Row #4.<\/strong> Work ch 3. Turn. Skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2, 1 dc in dc2tog, ch 2. * Skip 1 st, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in ch3 around, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 1 st, 1 dc in dc2tog, ch 2. Repeat from * across. At the end of row: skip 1 st. Dc2tog in next and last dc.<\/p>\n

Row #5.<\/strong> Work ch 3, 1 dc in next dc. Ch 1, skip 2 st, (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) all in next dc, ch. * Skip 2 st, dc2tog in the first and fourth dc, ch 1, skip 2 st, (1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) all in next dc, ch 1. Repeat from * across. At the end of row: Ch 1, skip 2 ch, dc2tog in next and last dc.<\/p>\n
